Returns, refunds & warranty

We want every refurbished-device purchase from Essential Tech Repairs to be straightforward. Please contact us before returning an item so we can help with the fastest next step.

14-day returns

Eligible devices may be returned within 14 days of delivery or collection. Returned items must be provided with all supplied accessories and be in the same condition as sold, with no new damage, account lock or activation lock. We inspect every returned device before a refund is issued.

Refunds and restocking

Approved change-of-mind returns incur a 10% restocking fee. Once the device has passed inspection, any approved refund is issued to the original payment method within 5 business days. Return postage, secure packaging and proof of postage are the customer's responsibility unless Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise or we have agreed that the item is faulty.

6-month device warranty

Refurbished devices include a 6-month warranty for eligible faults. Warranty claims are assessed after inspection to confirm the fault and the appropriate remedy. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repair, misuse, normal cosmetic wear, software or account-access issues, or faults caused by third-party accessories.

Shipping and collection

Orders are normally dispatched within 24 hours of purchase on business days, subject to successful payment and stock confirmation. Delivery estimates are supplied by the carrier and may vary by destination. Local pickup is available from Shop 11/102 Wises Rd, Maroochydore QLD 4558 after we confirm your order is ready.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If an item has a major failure or does not meet a consumer guarantee, contact us and we will assess the appropriate remedy.
