These terms apply when you use this website, request a quote, authorise a repair or purchase a device from Essential Tech Repairs. They should be read together with our Privacy policy and Returns, refunds and warranty policy.

Quotes, diagnosis and availability

Initial prices and timeframes are estimates based on the information available. The final repair approach, part option, total price and expected timing are confirmed after we identify the device and fault. Parts, refurbished devices and appointment times remain subject to availability until confirmed.

Repair authorisation

We will explain the proposed work and obtain approval before carrying out a chargeable repair. Additional faults found during assessment will not be added to the repair without further approval. Please provide accurate device and fault information and tell us about previous damage or repairs that may affect the work.

Your device and data

Please back up important data before handing over a device where reasonably possible. Remove or protect personal information that is not required for the repair and provide any access needed to test the authorised work. We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy policy.

Refurbished-device purchases

Each device listing describes the specific model, storage, colour, cosmetic condition, price and availability. Review those details before purchasing. Orders are subject to successful payment and stock confirmation. Delivery charges and available collection options are shown before checkout.

Returns, warranties and consumer rights

Eligible repair parts and workmanship carry the published 12-month repair warranty, and refurbished devices carry the published 6-month device warranty. The applicable coverage, exclusions, return window and postage responsibilities are explained in our Returns, refunds and warranty policy. These warranties are additional to rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

We aim to keep prices, availability and service information accurate. Content may be updated when stock, part costs or supported models change. Contact us if you need confirmation before travelling, booking a repair or making a purchase.
