What we can help with

Practical repairs.
Local support.

Macs differ a lot between years. Newer Apple silicon models have storage and memory built onto the board, so they cannot be upgraded, while many older Intel Macs can take a faster SSD. We check your exact model, explain what is possible and confirm the total before starting.

Supported devices

MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and iMac models, both Intel and Apple silicon (M-series). Find your model in Apple menu > About This Mac, or check the underside of a MacBook, and include the year when you ask for a quote.

Parts & warranty

We confirm part compatibility for your exact Mac model before ordering. Eligible repair parts and workmanship carry a 12-month warranty. Board-level faults, such as liquid damage, are handled with trusted specialist partners while you deal with one local team.

Sunshine Coast service

Mac assessments are available at Shop 11/102 Wises Rd, Maroochydore QLD 4558 for customers across the Sunshine Coast. Bring your MacBook charger if the problem involves power or charging.

Repair options

Common Mac repairs.

We test the Mac first so the repair matches the real fault.

MacBook battery replacement

Short battery life, sudden shutdowns, a "Service Recommended" warning or a swollen battery lifting the trackpad all mean it is time to check the battery. A swollen battery should be looked at promptly.

Charging and power faults

If your MacBook will not charge or turn on, we check the charger, cable, port and battery before recommending a part.

Slow or full Mac

A nearly full drive, old hard drive or ageing system can slow a Mac right down. Where your model supports it, an SSD upgrade can make a big difference.

Mac will not start

A blank screen, a folder with a question mark or a Mac stuck on the Apple logo can point to storage, software or hardware faults. We find out which before quoting.

Liquid damage

Switch the Mac off and do not try to charge it. Bring it in as soon as you can so we can assess it before corrosion spreads.

macOS setup and data transfer

We set up new Macs, update macOS and move your files and photos across from an older Mac or Windows computer.
