Our Good, Excellent and Mint grades make the cosmetic condition clear before you buy. The grade describes appearance; each listing separately shows its battery, warranty and other important details.

Near-pristine appearance
For buyers who want the closest thing to a near-new look. The screen appears clean at normal viewing distance and the body has little to no noticeable cosmetic wear.
Light signs of careful use
A very tidy device with minor cosmetic signs of use. You may notice fine surface marks only when looking closely, but there are no heavy scratches or obvious damage.
Visible cosmetic wear
A device with more noticeable signs of previous use, such as scratches, scuffs or small marks. This grade describes appearance only. Check the individual listing for functionality and any disclosed faults.
Across every grade
Condition is upfront. The grade reflects cosmetic appearance, from visible everyday wear through to a near-pristine finish.
Battery is separate. Battery information is shown on the individual product listing, rather than being assumed from its condition grade.
Warranty is listed clearly. Refurbished devices include a 6-month device warranty, subject to the applicable terms and inspection.

No. Good, Excellent and Mint describe cosmetic appearance, not functionality. A device may have a specifically disclosed fault, such as unavailable Face ID. Read the individual listing's functionality notes, battery health and warranty before buying; the cosmetic grade does not override those details.
Choose Mint if appearance is your priority, Excellent for light signs of careful use, or Good if visible cosmetic wear is not a concern. Compare each listing's functionality notes and price as well as its grade.
